Operations & Finance Intern

About the role

This is not a coffee-and-filing internship. You will help build the actual operational backbone of an early-stage startup, alongside the founder, and walk away with a portfolio of real work most people don't touch until years into their career. You'll do genuine accounting, financial modeling, FP&A, growth analytics, and business intelligence, and you'll be in the room for real founder and CFO-level decisions.

It's designed to be education-first. We teach, you build, and the work is yours to show. You'll leave with a resume that reads like a first job, not a first internship.

What you'll actually do

• Real accounting: help choose an accounting platform, build a chart of accounts, ingest data, and book real entries.
• Financial reporting & FP&A: build reporting off the books, a 3-statement model and long-range plan, and run monthly budget-vs-actual reviews.
• Revenue & subscription analytics: turn Stripe data into subscription reporting, cohort retention, and forecasting.
• Growth & marketing ops: build the funnel from analytics (organic traffic → free users → paid), set channel budgets, and help run our TikTok, X, and YouTube channels.
• Business intelligence: stand up a data warehouse and build the dashboards that power the models and track performance.
• Strategy & storytelling: contribute to the operating plan, pitch deck, and opportunity scoping (B2B, affiliate, consulting).

• Recent grads (finance, business, economics, or similarly quantitative) looking for a first real experience.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and eager to learn accounting, modeling, and analytics hands-on.

• Interested in fintech, startups, and how a business actually operates end to end.
